Fernando Lopes, one of the most important contemporary filmmakers and precursor of the Portuguese nouveau cinema of the 60's, takes us on a journey through his origins: from one side, the land, his childhood; and from the other: the cinema and the convulsions of the Portuguese New Cinema and the utopian desire of transforming the world. It is not a nostalgic movement, but a demand for truth. On this journey, the limits between cinema and life disappear.
