In the early 70’s, Camilo de Sousa left Mozambique, to travel around Europe and then joining the Frelimo guerilla. First in their training camp of Nachingwea, then in the front line of the national liberation war. Today, living in Portugal, he returns once again to Mozambique to meet two brothers in arms, who he met in the times of the guerilla and with whom he shared the Frelimo leadership in the province of Cabo Delgado.With Aleixo Caindi and Julião Papalo, Camilo recalls the dreams and hopes of those days, before the joy of independence was shattered by the ceaseless chase for the “New Man”.
